Normalized before it reaches you
Before information appears in the directory, we normalize the data so facility records are easier to compare. That means cleaning inconsistent names, matching addresses, standardizing counties, and organizing subsidy-related indicators in a clearer format.
Why this matters
When data discrepancies exist between state systems, families may receive inaccurate information about a facility's Medicaid status or capacity. AssistedLivingDirect cross-references all three sources to surface these discrepancies and present the most accurate picture possible.
