Everything on this site is provided for general informational purposes. It is not medical, legal, financial, or care-placement advice, and it is not a recommendation of any particular facility. Decisions about care are significant, and you should consult qualified professionals and the relevant state agencies before acting.

Accuracy and our data sources

Facility information is compiled from public sources including the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ), Maryland Medicaid, and the SOAR program. We work to keep it current and correct, but:

• Licensing status, subsidy participation, bed availability, pricing, and contact details can change at any time without notice to us.
• Source records may themselves contain errors or lag behind reality.
• Whether a facility accepts the Community Options Waiver or SOAR can depend on the individual resident and the facility's current capacity.

Always confirm details directly with the facility and with the relevant state or county program before relying on them. If you find something inaccurate, please report a discrepancy — corrections from users are a meaningful part of how we keep this directory trustworthy.

No affiliation, no commissions

We are an independent nonprofit. We are not affiliated with any placement agency, insurance company, or government agency. We do not accept commissions, referral fees, or paid placement from facilities, and no facility can pay to be listed, ranked higher, or removed. Listings are not endorsements.

Contacting facilities

The site can open a pre-written message in your own email application to help you contact a facility. Any communication that follows is strictly between you and that facility. We are not a party to it, we do not monitor it, and we are not responsible for how a facility responds or for the care it provides.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the directory for commercial purposes, particularly to generate sales or placement leads.
• Use contact details from this site to send unsolicited marketing.
• Submit knowingly false discrepancy reports or otherwise attempt to corrupt the accuracy of the directory.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Non-commercial personal use, and reasonable use by families, case managers, social workers, researchers, and journalists, is welcome and encouraged.

Third-party links and services

The site links to facility websites, government resources, and mapping services we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site or service.

We provide this site free of charge and make no guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
